During Summer, specially in the Middle East regions which includes
Dubai. The average temperature from late June till early December
would be somewhere around 41° Celsius to 49° Celsius (which
is the peak of summer) and goes down to about 32° Celsius during
December or much lower depending on climate changes.
Surprisingly, very very few people in this region (during summer)
would go for in-door Badminton and in-door basketball as these are not
common, in the region even in Dubai.
It is difficult to find facilities for these type of games in the
first place and IF there are a few of them that existed out there in
some parks, it is still in the open - which makes it not exactly
enjoyable during summer.
So, the hottest gear during summer or what majority of the young and
geek(s) or those who have extra cash or credit would go for are either
a Sony PSP or Nintendo DS lite or DSi
(even better).

Comment
- Sony PSP got great Graphics and good quality audio and is great
for both young and adult user
- battery life for the PSP is short extending the battery life
would benefit many
- holding Sony PSP makes me feel that it's going to break, the
plastic body feels very Cheap - Could be damaged fairly easily
- Overall gameplay on both PSP and DS or DSi are very much similar
it's just that PSP got better graphics and that is all, IF you
are more on Action, Shooting, Sports related type of games then
PSP is for you - RGP is pretty much the same for both devices
- with the Nintendo DSi, there is no GBA slot anymore, which means
you can not play your old GBA games

- to have DS play video movies or film you need to use DPGTool and
convert the file format to one that DS will accept
- for kids ages 6 and above - Nintendo DSi would be a great
companion as it's packed with lots of features and it's more
rugged than any PSP out in the market today - and the games are
also fun and enjoyable
- You will need to buy yourself a R4 for DS - which works like an
emulator and will cost you not more than 50.00 US Dollar -
