I do believe that there's more to life than just surfing the net and
the drawing boards of a studio, floor plans of sky rise.
Yes, there is more to life indeed.
From the dozens of possibilities and combination out there in public.
The most voted or the most common eight(8) things to comes to mind are
the following, when the issue is RETRO which we think is nearer to reality
in terms of affordability and use.
- Nokia N97
- is the tip of the spear in Nokia's smartphone lineup. It is the most
powerful, smartest and fully featured phone of the company.
It is also the first Nokia phone to make use of a large touch-display
and that alone has raised the expectations from die hard Nokia fans
that have refused to switch over to the iPhone.
Retails around $ 790 USD.
- Fatman iTube Value
- The performance of the amplifier and dock has been scrutinised by the
world's press and they have awarded it the best accolades possible,
including Product Of The Year, iPod Audio System Of The Year, etc.
The dock allows any iPod to be used (except Shuffle) and this
also comes with a full-function remote control for complete control
over all iPod functionality. Consistently excellent reviews by the
world's music press.
Retails around $ 307 USD.
- Sega Mega Drive
- The console that is considered to have contributed a major impact
that turned a generation into button bashing, couch potatoes is back
and is still alive.
It brings back the 10-year-old in You and Me again.
Now comes with 15 classic games inside this Sega Mega Drive or search
via eBay for cartridges to expand your gaming madness providing more
enjoyable, fun game time.
This is so far the cheapest console playing machine ever just under
$ 69 USD or cheaper with selected retail
outlets or dealer available world wide.
- Polaroid Two - Digital Instant Camera
- Digital photography is great, but nothing beats holding an actual photo
in your mitts. So wouldn't it be spiffing if eggheads created a camera
capable of spewing out prints on the fly? They have, and it's called the
Polaroid Two - Digital Instant Camera.
The whole process takes about forty seconds and, unlike the Polaroid
cameras of yesteryear, you can dispense with duds by checking your efforts
via the 3 inch LCD screen.
You can also crop pics before printing, add borders, remove red-eye and
print dates.
Retails around $ 383 USD only.
- Casio DBC-32C-1BEF - Databank with Calculator
- Get transported back in time with the retro DBC-32C.
This Databank can store 25 sets of data consisting of names and phone
numbers which are automatically sorted in the watch.
This model also features an 8 digit calculator with currency conversion mode.
Retails around $ 69 USD and cheaper with
selected retails outlets or authorized dealers.
- Tangent Uno Tabletop Radio
- This radio sports an analog AM and FM tuner, manually-adjustable to the desired
frequency.
Being an analog tuner means you'll get no presets but this is hardly a reason
to get you anxious:the airplane-type large scale dial will precisely tell you
where you are, frequency-wise, for both wavebands.
Said to be the Ultimate '50s diner-chic look and feel, ordinary digital radio
just won't be cooler than this.
Retails around $ 153 USD with Subwoofer Out,
recording Out, Aux In option and
comes with White, Walnut, Black, High-gloss red, Orange, Lime-green and
purple colors.
- Grado SR60i
- Like all Grado headphones, this is an openback model which relies on
rear-venting of the diaphragm to reduce both the frequency of bass resonance
and its severity, the aim being to give extended and clear bass.
This is a highly capable headphone. It is very revealing and has one
of the most satisfying tonal balances we've heard in this price range.
Headphone tonality can often take a bit of getting used to and does vary to
some extent, depending on each listener's ears, but in general terms,
this model has a largely neutral midrange and a very good bass; extended but
not over-emphasised.
Retails around $ 142 USD.
- Olympus E-P1 PEN
- Olympus E-P1 marks an innovative new era in digital imaging. Our new
Micro Four Thirds camera upholds the legacy
of the celebrated PEN family of cameras, with the photographic optics of an SLR
and the size and simplicity of a point and shoot.
Combining the still image quality of a digital single lens reflex (DSLR) with
the A/V quality of both a High Definition camcorder and high-end audio recorder,
the E-P1 is a virtual full-service imaging studio in one ultra-portable and
stylishly retro body.
With dozens of advanced features, the E-P1 makes documenting and sharing your
everyday life easier and more creative than ever before.
Retails around $ 998 USD and cheaper with
selected dealers and outlets and i've
also seen the same package at a much lower cost online like eBay.

Comments
Well, these are some of the most voted or things that makes RETRO a RETRO and
they are quit stylish and some does look and feel out-dated, old and comes with
odd colors.
But, again they are out of the the ordinary which gives life a push and pull
allowing us to re-think our view point.
They do remind us of a time, yet they are Cool to have around.
