Sigma 55-200 mm Lens
It is a Compact and lightweight, high-performance telephoto Zoom Lens
with Super Multi Coating that reduces flare and ghosting that tends to
occur when using digital SLR cameras.
This lens has a minimum focusing distance of 1.10 meters
(110 cm or 43.3 inches) and maximum magnification of 1:4.5.High
performance 3.6x telephoto zoom lens suited a wide range of shooting
conditions, such as portrait, sports, nature.
Sigma, took digital characteristics into consideration when designing
the lens power layout and created the most suitable lens that makes
high quality images a reality throughout the entire zoom range.

- this lens is a good replacement for the default Canon
supplied lens and is handy if you go on tours
- is very ideal for portrait shoots, where the background
becomes blurred like
- a distance scale on the focus ring is an easy to use and
convenient addition - will always remind you of it's
default minimum focusing distance, in case you forgot

- Vignetting will occur if the lens is used with digital cameras

I have tried using this on a Canon 1000D Rebel and it worked
just fine
