To connect to the Internet with the Red Hat PPP dialer, follow these steps:

log in 

   log in to Linux as any user will do, it does not have to be root

load PPP dialer 

   click the Main Menu button and choose Programs -> Internet -> RH PPP Dialer

click the name of your connection 

   select the name of your connection interface of example Myconnection and then click OK

click Yes 

   click Yes and the PPP dialer dials your modem and logs in to your ISP's PPP account

Cancel connection 

   when you are finished using the Internet, click the button (with a dot) in the PPP connection status windows.   

   The Change Connection Status ? dialog box reappears

To end your connection, click the Yes button 

   Your connection comes to an end.   You can construct a firewall before you use this connection also.....
