Celestron VistaPix IS70 52212 is a cross over between a regular spotting scope and digital camera is Celestron's entry for Digiscoping category.    IS70 comes with a fixed 70 mm lens (can be swap out) and 14x magnification feature with 3.1MP (2048 x 1536) resolution.

  • IS70 is kind of heavy when you don't have a tripod and it does not have image stabilizer which is important, when you are trying to capture moving subjects
  • SX10 IS is capable of shooting even at low light conditions
  • IS70 requires more Power when you zoom to 14x or close to that range
